Many adults living in Monwabisi Park have little or no education, and large numbers cannot speak English – for them we need volunteer teachers of basic literacy and numeracy. For those who have some schooling and some skills, we need people who can teach business skills, entrepreneurship and basic bookkeeping. IT skills are also valuable – and can be shared with people of all ages at the IT room in the youth centre.
Many of our citizens have never read our great constitution, and are unaware of all their basic human rights – volunteers who can hold workshops dealing with this would be very useful.
