Thanks to the donation of a spacious wooden hut, we now have a place to run the community soup kitchen from.
With unemployment at 80% many people cannot afford to feed their families. Pensioners and out of work mothers can get a bowl of hot soup and some bread every day from the community soup kitchen.
Buyiswa Tonono cooks a tasty, hot lunch for 150 people daily - for most of them it is the only meal they will have for the day.
