When the vegetables in our garden
were ready for harvesting, many people who
were unemployed, yet supporting orphans came
to ask for food…we have started a large
scale feeding scheme for the orphans of Monwabisi
Park. There are an estimated 150 young
children who have lost one parent
(who is currently unemployed and unable to
feed them) or both parents.
They get at least one healthy meal a day –
two if we can stretch that far! As we often
receive donations
of clothing, those get distributed to the
orphans as well.
