Orchestra of
Traditional African instruments: The
brain child of Dizu Plaatjies
will give many young musicians the chance to
perform and earn an income from their talent.
All the instruments are hand
made (a dying art that we are reviving) and
the players are of all ages - the youngest being
Dizu's son of 5 years old who is already an
enthusiastic drummer.
The orchestra is still in its infancy, but by
the end of the year we hope to give public performances
and wow audiences around Cape Town.
